So vast were your ancient ancestors’ armies that they needed loyal men to lead those armies. These Captains, Commanders and Generals fought many campaigns against any foreign invaders that dared to lay claim onto the land of their lord. So great and terrible was their strength that they made the ground tremble and left their enemies scattered, stunned and crushed before them. For their undying fidelity they were given an honor grave within the crypts of the Ruins among those who fought and died on the battlefield for our family’s name and glory. However, no matter how undying their fidelity was to your family, it did not stop the Necromancer from turning them into undying abominations.
Risen from their Grave as a hulking Goliath of bone clad in thick metal plate armor, the Bone Captain is a fearsome and terrible foe, capable of devastating even the most capable warriors with the sheer bone-crushing brutality of its large mace. Being a commanding presence amongst the Ruins, he leads the undying armies of undead for his new dark master or patrols the decaying and crumbling halls of the Ruins accompanied by either fellow Undead or cultists. Sometimes He will be summoned by the Necromancer to aid him battle, which may often prove fatal for any would-be group of heroes.
Behavior[edit | edit source]
The Captain is a Large unholy undead monster that always appears in front line of its party with ranged/support undead and cultists behind him. Its main ability is Ground Pound, a mighty smash that can stun your entire party. Sometimes it can perform a single, bone-crushing strike aimed at one of your front-line troopers, dealing massive damage and making it more likely they will be stunned.
