The Fracture gets three attacks per turn, that it will use to create a focus point or upgrade an existing focus point with a random ability. Focus points are healed to full health upon upgrading, so it is advised that you do not attack them if you don't believe you can destroy it during your turn. The fully upgraded focus points have 30 health apiece with a protection of 30%, making them easy to destroy provided you focus fire, using area of effect attacks to damage the main fracture as well.
Basic strategy until edited for better ones:

Make sure your heroes are healed and has low stress, well buffed too before killing boss. When second phase start its a damage race now. Longer fight takes more stress and damage you gonna get. Using holy waters just before triggering boss might help you to prevent deaths from blight damage boss applies each 2 turns.

Once the fractures reach their final forms, they will gain a single attack of their own causing them to explode, dealing both damage and minor stress as well as a random ability based on their color (black inflicts horror, pink heals the fracture, blue stuns the party), therefore it is advised that your party have both a vestal to deal with the en masse healing required, as well as a hero that can reduce stress such as the Jester or the houndmaster.
If you got high stress then beware because boss deals massive stress damage combined with crits and horrors

Fracture is a secret boss found within the Endless Harvest mode ofThe Color of Madness DLC and the first phase of the fight against The Sleeper. It's difficulty level is Darkest.

He will appear as the second boss in endless run, after the Miller. Then, he can be reencountered again as a random boss in the following waves.

Behaviour

The Fracture does not attack the heroes directly; instead, it focuses entirely on summoning and empowering other enemies to fight for it. At the beginning of the fight, it uses "Seeds of Despair" to spawn 3 Focus Points; during the battle proper, it can use "Vile Focusing" to recreate one Focus Point at a time. If Focus Points are active on the field when its turn comes, it can use "Befouling Tint" to change a Focus Point into a randomly colored Unfinished Aberration; in turn, it can use "Ceaseless Expansion" to complete their development into Pestilential Aberrations.

While Focus Points and Unfinished Aberration do nothing except get in your heroes' way, the Pestilential Aberration all have a unique ability, most of which are self-destructs which deal high damage on the whole party while also inflicting a status effect:

  • Red: Poptext bleedBleed
  • Purple: Poptext stunStun
  • Green: Poptext poisonBlight
  • Black: Poptext horrorHorror
  • Blue: Poptext guardno attack, but guards the Fracture as long as it's alive

After a certain number of turns pass or its HP is lowered to a certain point, the Fracture will use Blooming Chaos to transform into The Sleeper, becoming much larger and more aggressive in exchange for losing its ability to summon and enhance Focus Points.

Strategies

The Fracture gets three attacks per turn, that it will use to create a focus point or upgrade an existing focus point with a random ability. Focus points are healed to full health upon upgrading, so it is advised that you do not attack them if you don't believe you can destroy it during your turn. The fully upgraded focus points have 30 health apiece with a protection of 30%, making them easy to destroy provided you focus fire, using area of effect attacks to damage the main fracture as well.
