== Types of mods == === New Class Mods === By far the most popular type of mod. New class mods are mods adding to the game non-vanilla playable characters recruitable from the Stage Coach or town events. Other such mods make alterations to already existing characters (whether vanilla classes or modded classes). === Texture Mods === Texture mods are adding to the game more available textures for various characters or objects. Most often creators of those mods are making custom skins for playable characters or NPCs in [[Hamlet|The Hamlet]]. === Town Events Mods === Mods that either add or modify already existing [[Town Events|town events]]. They can also, but less often, be mods that remove certain town events from the save file, unless a mod responsible for it is disabled. === Location Mods === Mods that edit existing locations. === Enemies Mods === Mods that either modify, add, or remove enemies encountered in the game. === Inventory Mods === Mods that change the logistics of the player's inventory. Mods that change stacking of items are items mods. === Items Mods === Mods that edit items' behavior, add new items, or remove items.
