A cruel and twisted parody of militiamen and clergy, the Swine Drummer is the closest thing the Swinefolk have to a spiritual leader. Carrying the sigils and idols of their "religion" and pounding on drums made from the flayed skin of its victims, these boars serve as the rallying point for their brethren as they head into battle. Displaying the twisted sigils and idols of their primitive cultism on the field of battle fuels the Swine to disturbing degrees of zealotry and with every beat of their war drum, they drive their kin into a frenzy of hoof and snout to be unleashed on anyone foolish enough to set foot in their domain.

Hailing from a primitive warrior society, the Swine Drummer's playing shows none of the finesse or refinement found in human drummers; instead, they simply bang on the drum as loudly as possible. They use this to not only alert their kin to the presence of new prey, but within the enclosed spaces of the Warrens, their mindless pounding also disorient their victims and leave them vulnerable to being cut down by Swine warriors.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

The Swine Drummer is a Human/Beast type enemy that is only encountered in the Warrens. It usually spawns in the rear ranks of a Swine Party and serves as a support unit. The Swine Drummer is a dangerous enemy in that its attacks can inflict debuffs and stress damage to the party. It also has the ability to Mark party members to increase the damage of other enemies. The Swine Drummer should be dealt with quickly to limit the effects of its attacks.

On its own, the Drummer has a decent amount of health and speed, but has no protection and fairly low resistances to status effects.
