Either the result of the Ancestor's failed rituals or years of inbreeding, and host to innumerable, unnameable diseases with a body twisted and contorted to an unfathomable design, the Wretch is a sickly hybrid of man and pig, a mangled amalgamation of flesh that embodies the perverse crime against nature that created the Swinefolk. Offensively, they pose little threat, but their true danger lies in the plethora of diseases they are carrying and able to spread through their disease-ridden vomit. Always screaming and squealing through the darkened corridors of its squalid home, encountering one of these horrible things will not only pose a terrible threat to your health, but to the mind as well.
Behavior[ | ]
The Wretch is a Beast type enemy that appears in the Warrens; it appears in either the third or fourth rank of a swine party. While the Wretch has low health and low resistances to status effects, it is very quick, evasive, and will often act before your party members. The Wretch possesses only a single attack, Vomit. While Vomit deals minimal damage, its true danger lies in the fact that it inflicts high stress damage and has a good chance to crit, inflicting even more stress. Additionally, Vomit has a decent chance to inflict a random Disease upon its target. It is best to deal with the Wretch as quickly as possible, to limit the amount of stress damage that can be received — and to prevent it from inflicting expensive-to-treat diseases on your party.
