Regarding the summary table[]

I feel what is presented in the summary table is more suitable to a guide than a wiki page; it's not objective information and anybody could pass by here and disagree, unless there's an official source, which I think there isn't. Please feel free to make a page as a guide for locations and put it there. --itaShadd (talk) 13:14, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

Hello, I did not find how create a proper answer so I edited your comment. To answer the remark: all the information in the table I created are already present on this wiki in the dedicated location pages. This table is only a summary of those information to have them on hand instead of having to shuffle through the different pages. I presented the ones I feel are the most important to prepare a mission.

Example on the ruins page you can read (there are similar information on the other location pages as they follow the same template): Provisions

Antivenom less effective here than in other locations due to comparative lack of DOT attacks.
Holy Water extremely useful for curio interactions.
Skeleton Key being a close second considering the amount of locks usually encountered.
Medicinal Herbs have a small utility, like on Iron Maiden for extra loot

The next paragraph is about characters and damage: Party Composition

Characters reliant on doing Bleed damage are much less effective in Ruins than in other locations due to the presence of skeletons (which cannot bleed). Conversely, characters proficient with Blight attacks become extremely useful here as most enemies have very low blight resistance, and there are a few enemies with high PROT (less susceptible to regular damage, more susceptible to DOT).

Crusader does really well in the Ruins due to his increased damage to unholy. Grave Robber is fast enough to kill Bone Courtiers before they get a turn.

I see. However, those pages too are quite old and haven't been completely updated since release: they are likely to have outdated info and before we relay those, we should make sure they're still current. For example the variety of curios might have changed, secret rooms have been introduced (justifying bringing keys pretty much everywhere), monster and hero abilities have been changed and so on. In any case, feel free to remove all that info from this and those pages and write it all in a separate page, for example Tips for expeditions (but you can choose your own name): we will put it into a category for guides and, since it would be a guide, it could very well contain non-objective information freely. --itaShadd (talk) 14:53, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

Regarding the spoiler[]

One of the images on this page contains a spoiler - I won't be any more specific than that, in case someone who hasn't reached that point of the game yet reads this talk page.

I suggest it be removed from this page (and maybe relocated somewhere else), since I understand wiki policy is not to include unmarked spoilers anywhere but the pages for the Darkest Dungeon itself. I'd do it myself, but I wanted to run it by everyone first to see if there's a consensus. If I don't see any replies in a week, I'll delete it and leave a note. Please note that I use a rotating IP - subsequent edits and replies to this message may come from a different address. --64.228.219.213 18:30, 24 August 2016 (UTC)

I'm assuming you mean the gallery, to which I agree. I've removed it from this page and move it to the Darkest Dungeon page. Thanks for helping out! GentleIceZ (talk) 23:58, 24 August 2016 (UTC)
No problem! Glad to be of help. --64.228.219.213 00:48, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
