=== Forcing multiple copies === Though it is not normally possible to create duplicates of backer trinkets, there is a way to trick the game to create multiple copies, by abusing the mechanics of The Shrieker boss quest. Having multiple sets can be useful, e.g. bonus [XP Resolve] trinkets for leveling multiple characters, or the [DMG+ACC Rings] trinkets which tend to be more powerful vs. standard trinkets. This can be considered a ploy, and as such it's up to each player whether to use it or not. To duplicate a backer trinket: * Step #1~ Create the trinket(s) you want to duplicate (max 8 at a time), as above. * Step #2~ Go to the Stage Coach or your Hero list and pick some expendable heroes, equip them with (only) the trinkets you want to duplicate and send them on a mission. (Not the Farmstead.) * Step #3~ Simply let them all die. (Do not retreat before all are dead.) * Step #4~ Once all members of the party are dead and the trinkets "lost", go back to town and back into your Trinket inventory, and create them again. This is allowed since they are no longer "in your inventory". * Step #5~ Once The Shrieker has collected 8 total lost trinkets from your fallen dead, his event will trigger, allowing you to fight him in the Weald Zone. If successful (you only have to survive1), he will award you the first 8 trinkets that you lost. (This assumes you don't have a big list of other lost trinkets in queue to be reclaimed.) * Optional~ For more than 8 trinkets, or more than 2 copies of individual trinkets, just repeat Steps 1-4 before moving on to Step 5.2 :: Notes:<br> 1) To claim your 8 lost trinkets, you merely have to have at least 1 character survive the short, brutal mission. Going the extra mile and killing The Shrieker may award one of his 4 special trinkets, depending which mission is being offered. :: 2) Since the game won't allow you to claim a backer trinket if you already have it in your Inventory, if you want to create more than 2 copies of a specific backer trinket, then you will have to create and lose them additional times before the boss fight(s), each time adding one more copy to the list of lost trinkets that the Shrieker pulls from. To avoid unnecessary additional Boss fights, send Parties in with only the trinkets you wish to duplicate. Also note that, after week 42, the Shrieker can have a separate Town Event that steals 8 of your currently owned trinkets, taken at random from your Inventory. Also, any party wipes will place those trinkets first in the Shrieker queue, so it's best if this is done before any chance of that. It is recommended to start the above process early, before either event, so the first Shrieker mission guarantees retrieving the 8 Backer Trinkets that you want duplicated. After those 8, any additional trinkets can only be retrieved via additional Shrieker missions.
