The Pelagic Shaman is a stress-inflicting enemy appearing in the Cove. Unlike other enemies that specialize in dealing Stress damage, like the Bone Courtier or Swine Drummer, the Pelagic Shaman complements its Stress repertoire with a mixture of support spells to aid its allies, with the ability to heal and buff them. Stronger versions of the Shaman have also mastered the art of Stealth, giving them a few turns of safety at the start of each fight.

Behavior

The Pelagic Shaman is an Eldritch type that appears in the Cove. It is the stress dealer of the Pelagic monsters and with their Stress Wave it can hit two heroes at once. It also has the ability to heal their allies with Sea Breeze, a rare ability amongst the hordes of horrors you face. They may also buff their pelagic brethren with Call of the Deep. They can't use their magic in the first position however, as they are forced to use their weak Ceremonial Cut. It focuses on causing stress and casting positive magic on its team. However, aside from a high Bleed resistance (like most other monsters in the Cove), its resistances are overall poor, making it vulnerable to DOT and debuffs.
